FAIR HORSE SHOWS
RESCHEDULED - AUGUST 31, 2013 AT 7PM
NOTE: This year the horse shows will be on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 7pm. Open to Newton County Residents & Newton County Roundup club members (family membership $15). Call Lena Villines at 870-743-6482 for info.Age Divisions: Youth (14 & Under) Senior (15 & Over). Entry Fees: $5 per class with a 50% payback to first three places. Ribbons and high point trophies awarded. A negative Coggins paper is required. Concession will be available. Newton County Fair Board or Newton County Round-Up Club will not be responsible for accidents, death or loss of property.
Rules & Regulations:
· This show is open to gaited and stock horses only.
· Only Newton county residents or Newton County Round-up Club members may enter.
· All classes will be awarded three places with participation ribbons awarded to all participants. Points will go with the horse & individual. If riders share a horse only one rider will be eligible for high point prizes. (Ex. A rider borrows another rider’s horse for fast gait, only one can accumulate points for a high point prize.) Ponies 52” or less (Rider 14 & under). Stud handlers & riders must be 18 & over.
· Dress Code - Long sleeved shirt & cowboy hat required for all Halter. Trail; & Pleasure classes.
