ADULT, JUNIOR, AND COMMERCIAL EXHIBITS
Rules and Regulations
1. All entries, including baked goods and flowers, are to be entered between 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2022. Baked goods and cut flowers will be accepted from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2022.
2. All articles and products must be the work of the exhibitor and should NOT have been exhibited in previous years. Articles must have been completed within the previous year.
3. No exhibitor shall duplicate entries in any class within a department
4. Unfinished or soiled articles will not be accepted.
5. Rules and regulations for the department apply to adult and junior exhibitors.
6. ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL WILL BE ALLOWED IN BUILDING DURING JUDGING.
7. No premium will be awarded on articles not listed in this premium list.
8. Every precaution will be taken against loss or damage of any article or exhibit and in no case shall management or the fair board be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur to such articles or for any accident that may occur to any exhibitor or spectator.
9. Exhibits will be judged on their merits and judges will award 1st, 2nd or 3rd, or no rating as their judgment will indicate.
10. Articles will be judged Tuesday, August 23, 2022
. The educational buildings will be closed throughout judging.
11. REMOVAL OF EXHIBITS: Exhibits may be removed from the department from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2022 ONLY. No other times will be available and all items left will become the property of the fair. Removal before Sunday will result in premium being forfeited.
12. Age divisions are as follows: Children - ages 0 to 8 years. Juniors - ages 9 to 19, Adult - ages 20 +. For each class or division in the senior division, there will be a corresponding one in the junior division. Children ages 8 and under will exhibit in the Children's Department.
13. Participants should be non-professionals (Professional - one who makes his/her living by an art or game.)
14. In the case of no competition in any class, or where there are fewer exhibits shown in any class than the number of premiums offered, the judges may at their discretion award a prize or prizes of such grade as the exhibit deserved.
