It's fair time. folks!!! The fair board has been working very hard since the close of the 2013 fair. A lot of planning has gone into this year's fair.

The annual Miss Newton County Pageant has received a complete overhaul. There will be the formal wear competition as always, but new for this year is... RODEO WEAR competition. You could be the first ever Little Miss Cowgirl Newton County. Both pageants will be going on the same day. You can enter formal wear only or rodeo wear only OR DO BOTH! Boys will compete in Rodeo Wear Only ages 11 months to 7 years! Pageant date is August 9th!
The ATV Rodeo is back on August 15th. This year there will also be TT Races. Check back for more info!
Grice's Grocery of Western Grove is bringing the SMTTPA Truck and Tractor Pull on August 16 at 8pm. Do not miss it!!
Check-in for educational and livestock exhibits will be on Sunday, August 17 from 1-5pm. Due to the severity of PEDv, exhibit check in times for livestock will be strictly enforced. To ensure your are assigned a stall in the livestock barn, please submit Livestock Entry Forms by the due date.
Livestock show - August 18 at 6pm. Premium Sale - August 19 at 7pm.
Star Amusements of Beebe, AR will be the featured carnival for 2014. Carnival open Thursday-Saturday at 6 pm nightly! Every night is armband night. Only $20 each!
Villines Lock and Key, LLC proudly presents Bull Jam 2014! The rankest bulls are back to battle against some of the toughest cowboys in the business on Thursday, August 21 at 8pm!
Rodeo Action begins Friday with our Salute to the Veterans.
Saturday night is our annual Pink Out Night. We will be raising money for the Newton County Cancer Support Group. Wear pink and be proud!
Fair parade will be Saturday, August 23 at 4:30 pm.
